As an official photographer for Webit 2025, I was responsible for comprehensive conference photography coverage, documenting the main programme and the wider event environment.
Every speaker needed to be photographed in both landscape and portrait orientation, with a combination of wide and telephoto coverage. In addition to the stage programme, the brief included the audience, networking moments, event partners and every exhibition stand in the foyer, including natural interactions between exhibitors and visitors.
The final gallery needed to provide a broad and consistent selection of images suitable for public relations, social media, partner communication, future promotion and the event archive.

Webit 2025 had an extremely concentrated program, with presentations often lasting only five to ten minutes. Missing a speaker was not an option.
I had to coordinate stage photography, audience reactions, networking, partner visibility and the exhibition area within very limited windows. Once I had secured the required photographs of a speaker, the remaining minutes of the presentation were often the only opportunity to photograph the stands, check image quality, manage equipment and prepare for the next speaker.
The event also took place in challenging summer conditions, with significant heat adding to the physical demands of a long and intensive shooting day.
The central challenge was not simply producing strong individual photographs. It was maintaining complete, consistent and technically reliable coverage across every part of the event without disrupting the programme.

I worked with two camera bodies throughout the conference, using wide and telephoto focal lengths to avoid unnecessary lens changes and reduce the risk of missing important moments.
For each speaker, I aimed to secure:
01 — Wide environmental frame
02 — Tight telephoto portrait
03 — Horizontal + vertical
04 — Expression + gesture
05 — Audience reaction
Once the essential speaker coverage was complete, I used the remaining presentation time to move through the foyer and photograph the exhibition stands, branding, partner presence and interactions with attendees.
This required continuously prioritising the programme while also building a broader visual story of the event. The final coverage therefore included not only the speakers, but also the scale of the conference, the audience, networking, partners, exhibition activity and the atmosphere surrounding the main programme.
